Dierks Bentley featuring Jack Ingram

Hi fans! I’m back with the 411 on the backstage happenings at the Dierks Bentley concert at the Colonial Center! Dierks and crew came through last night with special guest Jack Ingram.
We started our night backstage at the meet and greet with the fans where we were able to take pictures and get autographs with Mr. Bentley himself. After that, we were invited into the band’s vibe room ‘aka’ Mick McCarthy’s Pub, which Dierks named himself. This is where the friends and family of the band hang out before and during the show.

Jack Ingram started the night with his new hit single, “Maybe She’ll Get Lonely” and the crowd went wild! Finally, after 5 years of anticipation, his fans can enjoy his new album, “This is It”. Last summer, Ingram’s single “Wherever You Are” landed at #1 on Billboard’s country singles chart. After his set, Jack walked off backstage by himself but his band shortly followed. I guess he needed some time to decompress after the show.

“Free and Easy” was the first thing that fans heard as Dierks burst onto the stage to kick off his “Throttle Wide Open Tour”. The crowd sang along with Dierk’s old songs and got a sneak preview of songs from his upcoming album. After a couple of bluegrass songs, Dierks and the band ended the night in a collaborative cover of “Hank Done It” with Jack Ingram.

After the show, Dierks and the band headed off to their trailer to change and relax before coming back into the arena to hang out with their family and closest friends. What a great show! Dierks and Jack Ingram both played long sets which the audience enjoyed.

Fan Feedback and Photos:

Brittany Harrison: "I had an absolute awesome time at the Dierks Bentley concert!! He puts on one hell of a concert!! It was awesome!! I tried and tried to win tickets but I never could. My sister won tickets off of the radio and then outside, she won 2 more. 5 minutes later, her boyfriend won 2 more so my boyfriend and I went. That is something I will never forget! The staff was great, anytime we were having problems with someone around us, they were right there to stop them. My all-time favorite part of the whole concert was when my sister and I got to touch Dierks!! That was definitely my favorite part!"

I purchased my own tickets presale through the cyber club. My seats were great and the atmosphere was awesome. Everyone was so friendly and Dierks did a great job of keeping up the adrenaline and enthusiasm levels so no one was ever bored. I think I stood the whole time. I can't say enough good things about the show. I'm looking forward to next show at the Colonial Center! "

Maroon 5

Ok fans…Sorry I’ve been gone so long, but I’m back with backstage details from another amazing concert at The Colonial Center! Maroon 5 was in town last night on their It Won’t Be Soon Before Long Tour with special guests Kevin Michael and The Hives. This was Maroon 5’s first appearance at The Colonial Center and they really rocked the house!

The Maroon 5 madness began with the band’s sound check at 4:30 PM. It was a great experience to see first hand how Maroon 5 prepared for their show! During the sound check Maroon 5 performed Purple Rain, originally written and performed by Prince. It sounded incredible! Following the sound check, the band moved onto their meet and greet where their fans had the opportunity to meet and take pictures with the band. While backstage for the meet and greet, it was apparent that Maroon 5 tried to make themselves as comfortable as possible while on tour with their own private yoga room, jam room, and even their own personal chef!

The show kicked off with opening act Kevin Michael, an up and coming artist whose eclectic style is a mix of Philly neo-soul, contemporary R & B, and pop. His hit music video “It Don’t Make Any Difference to Me” can now be seen on MTV. Following Kevin Michael were The Hives. I honestly did not know what to expect from them, but after seeing them perform, they really blew me away! All dressed in matching black tuxedos and white shoes, The Hives put on a great, energetic show and really pumped up the crowd for Maroon 5!

All I have to say about Maroon 5’s performance is “WOW”!! They opened with their hit single, “If I Never See Your Face Again”, which ignited an overwhelming reaction from the crowd. From that moment on there was nonstop singing along and screaming girls until the very last song. While in the crowd I overheard fans say, “I don’t think I’ve seen a better concert in quite some time!” and “Best $50 I have ever spent! Adam Levine looked hot and the whole band sounded amazing!”. As no surprise, the ladies swooned over Maroon 5 front man, Adam Levine, with his irresistible good looks and charismatic dance moves.

Overall the entire show was an unforgettable experience and a great success!
